Inventory/Notebook UI Design - Love Island The Game

Inventory feature for a Chelsea's Murder Mystery, a mini-season released in Love Island The Game in 2021.

The challenge was to create a UI design that would fit in the existing UI style of the game to represent the inventory in which the players can collect clues as they progress through the murder investigation. Collaborating with the Narrative Design and Art teams allowed me to make this design diegetic and incorporate bits of story-telling in it, since the character who gives that book to the player is someone very creative and who LOVES glitter and pink!

All designed in Illustrator and integrated in Unity by myself (except for the illustrations in the polaroids). Scribbles drawn with Procreate. Backgrounds illustrations drawn by http://www.ydy-cg.com/ .

All sprites that have been exported for the creation of the inventory/notebook screens in Unity. I focus on scaling, exporting and reusing sprites in a sensible way to optimise the UI for mobile devices.
