Love Island: The Game UI/UX Redesign

As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Fusebox Games, one of my main tasks was to redesign entirely the UX and UI of the successful Love Island: The Game.
After identifying that the major UX issues of the app resided in the main menu, and that the overall UI design of the app was very inconsistent and outdated, I researched a new appropriate UI style along with a UX easier to navigate while respecting the brand guidelines.
Unfortunately, the studio shut down the entire internal game development team before I had the chance to finish and implement this work, so the images here are WIP mock-ups that didn't make it in the live game.
UI Designs made in Illustrator; UX Mockups made in Adobe XD.

Mockups of new UX Designs for the main menu/episode selection of the game, as well as for the character customisation and wardrobe screens. I also made an interactive prototype for the main menu/episode selection navigation, all in Adobe XD.

Bonus: CRM/Promotional pop-up for a new Love Island game; the first task I accomplished after joining the company. It allowed me to study the current game style and find ways to work within its limitations.
